NEWS OF NATIONAL MINISTRY PARTNERSHIP

Mississauga, Ont. – (CANADIAN CHRISTIAN NEWS SERVICE) – Two great Canadian ministries, Crossroads Christian Communications Inc. (CCCI, the producers of 100 Huntley Street) and The Voice of the Martyrs Canada (VOMC) are excited to announce, in an effort to be more collaborative in their respective mandates specifically relating to the global persecuted church, that Greg Musselman, VOMC’s Minister at Large, will also become the new co-host of the highly popular and beloved 100 Huntley Street daily Christian television program. While CCCI and VOMC remain as independent Canadian registered charitable organizations, Greg’s new joint role will actually span both.

According to Lorna Dueck, CEO of CCCI, “100 Huntley Street is a spiritual treasure in Canada, and our leadership team have prayed long and hard as to whom this key role would be entrusted. Greg’s passion and continuing ministry through our good friends at VOMC are strong motivators in this partnership as we at Crossroads increase our focus on those who are in peril for their belief in Jesus.”

Doug McKenzie, CEO of VOMC comments: “We are continually surprised by God in our ministry and humbled knowing that He has chosen and equipped us to love those who are suffering for Christ. We’re proud that Greg can now extend our ministry and especially hereby our enhanced ability to tell even more compelling stories to a wider Canadian audience. I am particularly grateful to Lorna and her team in their pursuit of excellence and their passion for Christians in the world who are afflicted.”

Television Co-Host Greg Musselman
Greg Musselman began his broadcasting career in 1981 as a sports anchor for ITV (now Global Edmonton) before attending Northwest Bible College (presently Vanguard College) and working as a church pastor. In 2000, he began travelling to over 25 countries and five continents, interviewing hundreds of people and recording first-person accounts of persecuted Christians through his continuing work with The Voice of the Martyrs Canada. He is a sought-after speaker and author. Greg has also produced documentaries, along with various television and radio programs around the world.

Greg Musselman expresses: “I’m looking forward to my new role at both VOM Canada and 100 Huntley Street in this unique partnership which will enable us to continue sharing stories of our persecuted family around the world through television and the Internet – while also presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ across Canada. I have long appreciated both of these wonderful ministries; and to work with both is an incredible honour!”

The Voice of the Martyrs Canada
Established over 40 years ago in response to the global needs of those who are being persecuted for their expressed faith in Jesus Christ, The Voice of the Martyrs Canada continues today as a Canadian vanguard of hope in desperate times. VOMC, by way of its qualified field agents throughout the world, is an informed ambassador, advocate, and voice for those whose voices have been wrongfully silenced. VOMC is also a provider of shelter, food, clothing and other essentials for individuals and families suffering martyrdom due to the wrongful death, injury or incarceration of the family “patriarch” (often their main source of provision). These believers are being sustained in their “God-given calling” to continue faithfully serving in ministry through VOMC’s practical and ministerial assistance. More about the mission is available at www.vomcanada.com.
