TORONTO’S LEADING CHRISTIAN SPIRITUALITY CONFERENCE WELCOMES TOP SPEAKERS

TORONTO, Ontario — (CANADIAN CHRISTIAN NEWS SERVICE) — Wycliffe College, at the University of Toronto, is pleased to announce the return of Refresh!, Toronto’s premier spirituality conference, Friday and Saturday, May 6 and 7, 2016.

This year’s theme is Strength in Weakness (based on 2 Corinthians 12:9), which will be addressed by a stellar lineup of plenary speakers:

Richard Foster, author of Celebration of Discipline
Nathan Foster, author of The Making of Ordinary Saints
Sharon Garlough Brown, author of Sensible Shoes
Sharon Ramsay, Family Therapist
Christopher Wright, author of The Mission of God
Wanda Malcolm, Psychologist and Wellness Coach

The worship leader for the conference will be Jon Bauer, Juno-nominated artist, and the conference host will be Lorna Dueck, host of Context and will also include a special arts evening, Transcend: An Art-full Worship Experience to follow the plenary session on Friday night. It will feature the work of a number of Toronto visual artists under the umbrella of Imago, plus contributions from Jon Bauer, Nathan Foster, and Ins Choi.
