YOUNG ONCE DEBUTS ITS TWO-EPISODE PREMIERE WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 24th ON YES TV

TORONTO — (CANADIAN CHRISTIAN NEWS SERVICE) — YOUNG ONCE is a new eight-part television docuseries highlighting college life at one of North America’s most conservative schools, where alcohol, drugs and sex are off-limits. But, it’s anything but tame or boring. Woven between the campus pranks, romances and finals, is a funny and endearing coming-of-age story that shows the depth and contemplative nature of the students. It reminds us that we’re all only YOUNG ONCE.

YOUNG ONCE is filmed on-location in California at Biola University, an offbeat college environment like no other. Cameras follow an eclectic group of students who find adventure, explore personal relationships and push social boundaries against the backdrop of Hollywood, Sunset Strip and exams. From blind dates and virgin romance to the fear of failing grades, deportation and what lies in the dark tunnels beneath campus, viewers will journey into an entertaining world full of surprises.

“My hope is that viewers will find the student cast of YOUNG ONCE relatable, funny, and appreciate the positive way they live out their faith in a campus environment,” says Jon Oleksiuk, Series Creator. “Finally there is a show for teens that doesn’t just uphold, but celebrates their values. Every youth pastor, Christian teen, and parent of a teen needs to see this show. They won’t find anything else like it on TV.”

Canadian production company, Tricord Media, documents the strange, humorous and virtuous worldviews shared by American Christian College students, showcasing their interactions with one another under the school’s strict code of conduct.

YOUNG ONCE will premiere on YES TV Wednesday, February 24th at 9pm with two back-to-back episodes. YES TV will air the next six episodes weekly at 8pm on Wednesdays.
