CANADIAN BIBLE SOCIETY PROMOTES UNITY OF PRAYER FOR CANADA

“Let the nations be wakened.”  Joel 3.12 (NKJV)

TORONTO, Ontario — (CANADIAN CHRISTIAN NEWS SERVICE) — The Canadian Bible Society (CBS) has released their “31 Days of Prayer for our Nation” brochure this month to encourage all individuals, prayer groups and churches to stand together and unite in prayer for Canada.

“As we approach Canada day, we are excited about this opportunity to engage in prayer for Canada,” says CBS National Director Rev. Dr. Rupen Das, “and gratefully ask God to keep our land so that Canada can be a blessing to others.”

Each day of prayer focuses on a Scripture-supported aspect of prayer for our nation such as:

Mercy                    Healing                    God’s Protective Presence
Peace                     Blessings                 Political Leadership
Revival                   Provision                 Thankfulness
Faithfulness          Salvation                  Honour
Praise                     Glory                        Joy
Steadfast Love      Prosperity               Salt and Light

“We are inviting all Canadian Christians and churches to be a part of this significant prayer partnership,” concludes Dr. Das.
