Canadian Leaders Celebrate 'The Chosen' Season 5 with Star Noah James at Exclusive Preview

Waterloo, ON, March 7, 2025 – On Thursday, March 6, 2025, over 220 Canadian church leaders, influencers, media and super fans celebrated the upcoming Season 5 theatrical release of The Chosen: Last Supper, written, directed and produced by Dallas Jenkins. Screening guests enthusiastically packed an auditorium at Cineplex Cinemas Oakville, and VIPs were welcomed by Noah James, who stars as Andrew in the groundbreaking series. James had previously been in Ontario on a multi-day Canadian press tour in support of The Chosen Season 5 release.
“I’m excited to be here in Canada to celebrate the upcoming launch of season 5,” said James. “We really put so much into this season. It’s an intense season which depicts Holy Week. It really is a pressure cooker for the disciples, and we can’t wait to bring you along on this emotional journey with us and our characters.”
The Chosen: Last Supper features the events of Holy Week, the most pivotal week in history, in this special theatrical release. Guests from over 40 churches, 30 ministries, local super fans, media and influencers had the opportunity to preview the first episode of Season 5, followed by a question-and-answer period and meet-and-greet with James.
Beginning March 28, 2025, Canadians can experience all of Season 5 in three parts, exclusively in theatres. The Canadian theatrical rollout will begin with Part One (episodes 1-2) on March 28, followed by Part Two (episodes 3-5) starting April 4, and Part Three (episodes 6-8) beginning on April 11. The Chosen: Last Supper is distributed by Fathom Entertainment in the U.S. and by Trafalgar Releasing internationally. Later in 2025, the season will make its streaming debut on Prime Video in Canada. Seasons 1-4 are now available on Prime Video and The Chosen App.
The Chosen: Last Supper
The table is set. The nation of Israel welcomes Jesus as king while his disciples await his crowning. But—instead of overthrowing Rome—he turns the tables on his people’s own religious festival. Their power threatened, the country’s leaders will go to any length to ensure this Passover meal is Jesus’ last. Shot in a beautiful cinematic format, The Chosen: Last Supper brings the most pivotal week in history to audiences in this special theatrical release.

Every dollar donated is being used to distribute The Chosen across the country, and now, Come and See is pleased to announce that all gifts are eligible for an official donation receipt.
