IFCJ Canada Identified as a Top Charity, Receives an ‘A’ and 5-Star Rating
The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews of Canada (IFCJ Canada) announced today that it has received an ‘A’ grade and five stars on its charity rating by Charity Intelligence Canada.
The rigorous rating assessment by Charity Intelligence Canada included a review of the organization’s strategy, commitment to financial transparency, demonstrated impact of its programming, and accountability to its donors.

From Orphan to Hero
Before World War II began, Krystyna Danko’s life in the town of Otwock, Poland, was already difficult. An orphan, the girl had no family of her own. However, a Jewish family and their oldest daughter Lusia Kokoszko befriended Krystyna and took her in. This family would be her own. And when war began and the Nazis invaded Poland and began rounding up, deporting, and murdering the country’s Jews, Krystyna decided to help the Kokoszko family. |

That’s what a new survey says, and here’s how IFCJ Canada is going to help: As Israeli children prepare to head back to school amidst a period of skyrocketing prices for food, electricity and many other basic necessities, the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews (The Fellowship) is spearheading a program to help ensure children will not be deprived of the school supplies many of their peers take for granted. |
The Fellowship Opens New Shelter for Israel’s Homeless
A new Fellowship-supported homeless shelter has been named after Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein, of blessed memory. And it will provide food, showers, laundry services — and care — to the homeless in Tel Aviv: HaGagon, a new shelter for Tel Aviv’s homeless named in honour of the late Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein, was opened this week by the Tel Aviv-Jaffa Municipality. |
