SAVE THE MOTHERS SEEKS NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR: FOUNDER PREPARES TO STEP INTO “AMBASSADOR” ROLE

HAMILTON, Ontario—For 12 years, Dr. Jean Chamberlain Froese has made establishing Save the Mothers (an organization she founded) the centre of her life’s work. Now, as she prepares to step into an “ambassador’s” role at the end of this year, the international charitable organization (also known as STM) is seeking qualified applicants to assume her position as Executive Director.

“Every mother reaches a point where she recognizes it’s time to step aside from hands on involvement in her children’s lives, and become more of a coach and cheer leader,” says Dr. Jean. “I always knew that time would come for me with Save the Mothers. It’s been a privilege to birth and grow this organization, and I look forward to continuing to advocate for STM and to sharing its story.”

“But I’m also excited about having recently returned to my full-time career as an OB/GYN on this side of the globe, and I look forward to having more time for my broader family here in North America. That’s why Save the Mothers is putting out the call for qualified applicants who believe God might be calling them to take the helm of STM as Executive Director.”

Once a new Executive Director is appointed, Dr. Jean will continue to work closely with Save the Mothers and engage in her advocacy for the hundreds of thousands of girls and women around the globe who continue to die each year of causes related to pregnancy and childbirth. In addition, she will also make periodic trips to East Africa to encourage the work and leadership there and lead vision trips for those who are interested in seeing the work firsthand.
