NEW INTERACTIVE BIBLE STUDY NOW AVAILABLE IN CANADA

Canadian Bible Society presents an eight-week program suitable for online group meetings

The Canadian Bible Society is releasing a new study to explore the Bible, for groups and individuals – even while they maintain social distancing. After enabling thousands of people across the UK and other parts of the world to grow in their understanding of the Word of God, The Bible Course is now available in Canada.

This eight-week group journey features:

  • Interactive Course. Each session includes video content, discussion time, personal reflection, and daily readings.
  • From Genesis to Revelation. Using a unique storyline, it shows how all the books of the Bible are part of one big story.
  • For Small Groups or Online Gatherings. The Bible Course can be used anywhere – homes, workplaces, churches, prisons or even virtual meetings.
  • For Everyone. Whether new to or familiar with the Bible.

Starting with Creation, The Bible Course reveals the unique timeline of the Scriptures, from the Old to the New Testament, providing a better understanding of its one big story. Find out more about the content of the course: https://youtu.be/tkGVlGyx_C0

To host The Bible Course, a group will need at least one set of course videos, plus one manual for each course participant. In light of the COVID19 outbreak, the materials are also available in digital format (mp4 video download and PDF) suitable for an online small group or family setting.

At Canadian Bible Society, we are committed to engaging more people with the Scriptures. However, while many want to learn more about the Bible, it can be a big and complicated book to read, and it can be challenging to know where to start.

And that is why CBS is presenting this new resource in Canada. “The Bible Course is an easily accessible program, with a simple setup, that makes it possible to study the Bible together, even as we are in isolation,” says Rev. Dr. Rupen Das, Executive Director of the Canadian Bible Society. “The course presents the Bible in a language that people can easily relate to, and in a form that makes it easy for them to use and engage with. We believe lives are transformed when people engage with the Scriptures, and when the Word of God speaks to them.”

To mark the official launch of The Bible Course, the Canadian Bible Society will host a webinar on May 7th, 12 pm EST with the author of The Bible Course, Dr. Andrew Ollerton. For media and influencer registration to participate, please email mbraga@biblesociety.ca.
